Java Software Engineer

My client, a market leader in the MedTech space, is looking for a Java Software Engineer with significant expertise in Java, Spring, Kubernetes, and exposure to Cloud technologies. You will be responsible for the development of innovative software applications and have the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading pioneers in the industry.

Java Software Engineer - Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test product features, enhancements and architectural changes.
• Use containerisation and cloud technology to build, deploy and execute services and applications in the cloud.
• Ensure high-quality coding standards, supporting product monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Adopt and improve development team best practices and standards.

Java Software Engineer - Essential Experience:

• 6+ years' experience of hands-on development with Java is essential.
• 4+ years' experience using Spring frameworks such as Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
• 2+ years' experience in Microservices and Kafka or similar.
• Experience in Kubernetes, NoSQL, and CI/CD exposure.
• Experience operating in an Agile environment.
• Exposure to AWS or GCP Cloud environments.
