I have partnered with a start-up company who are establishing their presence in the European market, ideally hiring within and interviewing in Ireland. This role, whilst involving QA Lead managerial expertise is mainly focused on the technical aspect of the job, building out automation test suites and scripts from scratch using Python.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals to achieve high-quality software delivery.
- Develop and implement QA processes and strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Design and build test automation scripts from scratch using Python.
- Demonstrate strong technical hands-on skills in Python development.
- Work within a Linux-based environment to ensure seamless integration and compatibility.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and provide valuable input on testability.
- Utilize Docker and/or Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration processes.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of overall experience in Quality Assurance.
- 2+ years of experience in a QA Lead position.
- Exceptional proficiency in Python development, with a focus on building automation scripts.
- Solid professional experience working within a Linux-based environment.
- Advantageous to have experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
