Senior / Principal Embedded Software Engineer

The client we are working with is seeking to create a team to support an excellent experience for customers. The company's focus is project development in medical technology and research. They have offices in the Triangle area, but also teams in other states up North! This individual will work within an existing team of embedded engineers ranging in experience levels.

As the Embedded Software Engineer, you will utilize your extensive knowledge to collaborate and add value to the large projects they are currently in. This will require a vast knowledge of the creation of life cycles of projects, being able to work with management teams on product deadlines, and working on case studies in labs.

The Senior Embedded Systems Requirements:

• 5-7 Years working with large projects and in leadership roles.
• +5 years of experience in robotics, medical technology and/or automotive
• Ability to understand full product life cycles.
• Develop quality firmware and software libraries for embedded systems.
• +4 years of software experience with related testing C and C++.
• Excellent team communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and/or in a lab environment.
