Tech Lead (Full Stack)

Dublin/Hybrid

My client is looking for a Tech Lead with solid experience across the full stack, with significant experience in hands-on development and a track record of leading and mentoring a team. You will be responsible for leading the technical design and decision-making for the software development team with the ability to drive excellence in the delivery of high-quality, and highly scalable software solutions. You will have a customer-first mindset with the ability to weigh up cost and value to ensure software development decisions are economical while maintaining quality and meeting client needs.

Tech Lead (Full Stack) - Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with the wider development team including Product and Delivery stakeholders to deliver a technical roadmap to meet current needs and support growth.
• Explore and implement new technologies to ensure the product suite is constantly evolving to keep up with emerging trends.
• You will set a positive example as a software engineer with the ability to mentor and upskill junior members of the team.
• You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational excellence, responding to incidents, and outages and ensuring the team can be both proactive and reactive.

Tech Lead (Full Stack) - Essential Experience:

• Significant experience in hands-on development across a combination of the following technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD and Terraform.
• Front End development exposure across React, Typescript, Chakra, and Playwright testing.
• Demonstrable stakeholder management experience.
• At least 2 years experience operating as a Tech Lead in previous roles.
