Currently working with a start-up software development company based in Kerry, Ireland who are looking to bring on a Software Test Engineer who can get heavily involved in both manual and automation testing on multiple projects whilst making a big step in your career.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conducting both automation and manual testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of our software applications
- Employing a range of testing tools and technologies to execute functional and non-functional testing
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans
- Identifying and documenting software defects using Jira, providing detailed information to facilitate swift resolution
- Participating in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in Software Testing (covering the entire SDLC)
- Proven experience in both automation and manual testing in a software development environment
- Familiarity with a variety of testing tools and technologies
- Strong knowledge of functional and non-functional testing methodologies
- Proficiency in tracking defects using Jira or similar issue-tracking systems
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
