Data Platform Engineer (Principal)

Reperio have partnered with an exciting FinTech global company, they are seeking a dynamic Big Data Platform Engineer to join their innovative team. As a key member, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining their cutting-edge big data infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable and robust big data solutions using modern technologies.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and analysis of large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance platform performance, reliability, and security.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in data engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in designing and building large-scale big data platforms.
• Strong experience in programming languages (Python, Java etc..)
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
• Experience with Snowflake or Redshift Databases
• Experience working with Cloud Technologies (AWS or Azure)
