My client is looking for a Java Software Engineer with solid experience in Java development and Spring frameworks. You will be responsible for the development of innovative software applications working as part of a multi-disciplinary team using agile methodologies while contributing to the design, architecture, and data structure of the solutions to optimise performance and facilitate future development.

Java Software Engineer - Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with the wider development team including Product Owners and technical experts to enhance user experience and provide technical support when required.
• Be an active contributor to Scrum meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Ensure that solutions are developed to meet the true business needs of the client.
• Provide innovative solutions that facilitate and improve the interface and user experience, increasing the value of the product.

Java Software Engineer - Essential Experience:

• 3+ years experience in hands-on development with Java working on client-server applications.
• Demonstrable experience using Spring frameworks such as Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
• Experience in Microservices development.
• Experience in continuous Agile development.
• Additional experience with the following is desirable: Python/Django and/or GraphQL.
