Lead QA Engineer

I'm working with a large software consultancy business based in Dublin that is looking for a Lead QA Engineer (automation) for a 6-month contract with a possible extension.

This role offers an opportunity to work with a well-known organisation as well as a competitive daily rate of €500 per day and hybrid working ( 1 day on-site per week)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of testers, encouraging success and efficiency
• Create test cases to identify areas that require improvement in line with the test plan for both automated and manual testing.
• Work with other technical teams to complete project-specific testing in line with agreed deadlines.
• Use debugging tools to identify and isolate potential bugs
• Develop a testing strategy that will cover all stages of the developmental lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Experience working in an agile environment, analysing complex solutions and creating the appropriate test strategies
• Proven Manual and Automated testing experience
• Experience in testing applications across Desktop and Mobile devices
• Experience working with a variety of software languages e.g. Python
• Proven ability to lead a team
