My client, a market leader in the Payments space, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with significant expertise in Java/J2EE, REST API's, and exposure to Cloud technologies. You will be responsible for developing innovative software applications and have the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading pioneers in the industry.

You will work in various team environments and be responsible for designing and developing back end, service, and portal systems on their payment processing platforms while leveraging your experience in BDD and CI/CD.

Senior Software Engineer (Java) - Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications through the full SDLC in different client settings.
• Create functional design documentation.
• Maintain high-quality code and unit testing standards.
• Take part in Code Reviews and peer programming.
• Test, Debug, and troubleshoot applications as necessary.

Senior Software Engineer (Java) - Required Experience:

• 6-8 years experience in hands-on development of Java-based applications with demonstrable experience in J2EE.
• Experience in a combination of SQL, HTTP, Maven, HTML, JavaScript, Ansible, CI/CD.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and networking stacks.
• Ability to produce highly scalable, available, reliable, and secure software applications.
