Network Security Specialist

My Dublin-based client requires a Network Security Firewall Engineer to join the team! This is a rolling contract (TBC) and there is an attractive daily rate on offer.

Responsibilities:

• Configure/administrate firewall devices
• Contribute to high & low-level design, supporting Network Architecture
• Work with project managers, network engineers, system administrators, and developers.
• Assist and support the wider Security Services function
• Some incident response responsibilities
• Ensure adherence to security policies
• Provide out-of-hours cover when required

Required Experience:

• Solid technical foundation in firewall administration (5+ years experience)
• Extensive experience working with Palo Alto firewalls
• Experience in configuring firewall architectures within a hybrid cloud environment
• Strong proficiency in reporting and documentation
• Vendor Management experience
• Relevant certifications: PCNSE, Security certs ideal
