Software Engineer (Java)

My client, a market leader in the Payments space, is looking for a Software Engineer with significant expertise in Java/J2EE, REST APIs, and exposure to Cloud technologies. You will be responsible for the development of innovative software applications and have the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading pioneers in the industry.

You will work in a variety of team environments and be responsible for the design and development of back end, service, and portal systems on their payment processing platforms while leveraging your experience in BDD and CI/CD.

Software Engineer (Java) - Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications through the full SDLC in different client settings.
• Create functional design documentation.
• Maintain high-quality code and unit testing standards.
• Take part in Code Reviews and peer programming.
• Test, Debug, and troubleshoot applications as necessary.

Software Engineer (Java) - Required Experience:

• 3-5 years' experience of hands-on development of Java-based applications with demonstrable experience in J2EE.
• Experience in a combination of SQL, HTTP, Maven, HTML, JavaScript, Ansible, CI/CD.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and networking stacks.
• Ability to produce highly scalable, available, reliable, and secure software applications.
