A new opportunity has opened up for a Senior Big Data Systems Engineer to join my global client, based in Dublin, Ireland. This is an initial 1-year contract with great potential to extend.
My client are looking for a strong data engineer to join the team to work closely with senior management and stakeholders on multiple client projects.
This role is 2-3 days/week onsite in Dublin City Centre (flexible), and you must be based in Ireland.
Required skills:
- 7+ Years overall professional experience in an analytical environment
- 5+ Years Experience with Big Data technologies/platforms (ideally Hadoop)
- Strong Cloudera administration experience
- Hive
- Spark
- Python
- Search technologies, eg. Solr, Cloudera search preferable
For contractual reasons, candidates for consideration must be based in Ireland.
