Senior Software Engineer

Hybrid 

We are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer in Cork, Ireland. 

This is a 6-month daily rate contract role.

Senior Software Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Design and implement new functionality.
• Participate in code reviews across multiple services and languages.
• Contribute to using development tools, CI, source control and tracking systems.
• Ensure software is up to date with the latest technologies

Technical Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience with Java
• Strong in designing scalable APIs
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
• Comfortable working in an agile development environment.
• Good knowledge of the following: Kubernetes, docker, microservices, AWS
• Favourable skills: MySQL, MongoDB, Snowflake
