IT Operations Manager

I'm seeking to hire an experienced IT Infrastructure professional on behalf of my Dublin-based client. You will play a key part in the management of IT Infrastructure and Operations. Duties will involve overseeing vendor management, the IT Service Desk, infrastructure and contributing to strategic projects.

Duties:

• Overseeing a team of Service Desk Engineers, a Senior Infrastructure Engineer and the IT Governance and Vendor Management Lead
• Leading infrastructure initiatives, assisting in the migration to and management of Azure services & on-premises systems
• Ensuring the Service Desk Engineers provide high-quality support to end users
• Managing relationships with vendors
• Overseeing the administration of on-premise and Cloud network infrastructure, as well as monitoring/managing security operations and implementing Cybersecurity measures

Requirements:

• Experience in a Leadership or Management role
• 5-10 years experience in an Infrastructure Engineering or similar role
• Strong experience in Cloud Infrastructure Management and Security
• Having technical certifications in Azure, AWS, Cisco etc is desirable)
