Application Support Engineer

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer for a contract role. We are looking for individuals who combine technical expertise with excellent communication skills to ensure optimal performance and support for critical applications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely response and resolution to user-reported issues related to applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose application-related problems, escalating when necessary.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand and resolve complex technical issues.
• Document and maintain accurate records of application configurations, issues, and resolutions.
• Contribute to the creation and update of knowledge base articles to facilitate efficient issue resolution.

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of demonstrated expertise as an Application Support Engineer
• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical challenges associated with various applications.
• Experience working with databases, middleware, and application servers.
• Knowledgeable in scripting languages and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
