Senior Field Project Engineer

On-site across Tipperary, Kilkenny and Waterford

We are seeking to hire an experienced IT Engineer on behalf of our client, an IT solutions provider with operations across Ireland. This position will involve playing a key role in project service delivery and utilising your technical skillset to deliver top-class engagements with clients.

Field Project Engineer Duties:

• Playing a key role within project service delivery
• Documenting client networks
• Integrating and/or solving problems in Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, VPN's, Cisco Internetworking and more
• Configuring, troubleshooting and managing vSphere environments including vCentre, ESXi and virtual machines
• Migrating servers including Microsoft features such as AD, DHCP and DNS
• Configuring, troubleshooting and managing networks and firewalls

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Senior IT Engineering role
• Full driving licence
• Experience of working for an MSP
• Experience with Windows Servers, Virtualisation technologies including vSphere and Hyper V and networking protocols
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Office 365 set up and configuration
