OT Security Analyst Job Description:

As an OT Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a key role in protecting our clients' OT infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Leveraging your expertise in cybersecurity and operational technology, you will contribute to the development and implementation of robust security measures to mitigate risks and safeguard industrial systems.

OT Security Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses of operational technology (OT) systems, including SCADA, PLCs, and industrial control systems (ICS).
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on OT networks and devices to identify security weaknesses and potential attack vectors.
  • Monitor OT environments for security incidents, analyze security logs, and investigate alerts to detect and respond to cyber threats in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls, network segmentation, and access controls to enhance the resilience of OT infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation related to OT cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Provide cybersecurity awareness training and support to OT personnel to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve OT security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on operational technology (OT) environments.
  • Solid understanding of OT systems, including SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and industrial networks.
  • Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits in OT environments.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and regulations, such as NIST, IEC 62443, and ISA/IEC 62443.
  • Proficiency in network security concepts, tools, and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security incidents and recommend effective countermeasures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
