AWS/Azure Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to protect our client's cloud-based infrastructure and data. You will develop and implement robust security solutions, collaborate with teams to design and maintain security controls, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cloud security strategies, policies, and procedures
• Design, deploy, and maintain security controls for cloud-based infrastructure and services
• Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation strategies
• Integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps processes
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for security incidents and respond promptly to mitigate risks
• Stay up to date with cloud security trends, threats, and regulations
• Provide guidance and support on cloud security best practices
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and implement cloud security tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience securing cloud-based infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security features
• Familiarity with cloud security principles, frameworks, and best practices
• Experience with cloud security tools and technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• Scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and automation frameworks
• Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and associated security
• Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Vulnerability assessment and Penetration Testing
• Understanding of DevOps practices
