    C Named Language of the Year 2017

    According to the TIOBE index, C has grown in popularity, proving that sometimes the old ones are the best. The TIOBE index reflects changes in the current interest in languages. According to the index, C language gained 1.69% interest in 2017 and has remained in 2nd place behind Java, but above runners-up Python (1.21% growth) and Erlang (0.98%).

    2018 - Off to A Running Start

    Over the course of 2017, the Reperio team actively raised £1,000 for our team member John James Baird. JJ has taken up the challenge to run in the London Marathon in April and donate all fundraising to CLIC Sargent, now known as Young Lives vs Cancer. It hasn’t been an easy run (excuse the pun) for John James over the last few years. We will let him tell you his story (warning, if you are squeamish, stop here).

    Ireland is Improving at Developing and Attracting Talent

    According to a new study from the IMD World Talent Ranking*, Ireland places 14th out of 63 economies worldwide for developing, attracting and retaining talent, ranking above both the US and UK. The USA was in 16th place with the survey authors warning it risks losing some of its global competitiveness if it does not increase investment in public education. Meanwhile, the UK was down one spot to 21st place.
